One Passenger only by zeustoves One Passenger only by zeustoves
I haven't done a lot of Steampunk work per se - frankly I don't know why it's kind of right up my alley in a lot of ways.

I guess I have always preferred a more bleak sense of science fiction - steampunk at it's heart has always felt more optimistic in a way. I could be wrong. Maybe this is a new genre I could get into - SteamNoir, haha. Or SepiaPunk. UmbreNoir. Ok I'll stop.

The idea is awesome, it certainly fits in steampunk style. Big flying ships with flags, i love it :)

Cool - I might be doing the view from the passenger's side one day - there's an interesting story developing in there I like.

Looking at this.... I do wish that vehicles like these actually could exist in real life. Beautiful work.

Same here - some folks say it's just a matter of time, engineering, and willpower. And some imagination never hurt. Thanks.

I agree... I just started on a project that will need just that... Steampunking a Star Wars x-wing fighter toy. And I am trying to make it as mechanically feasable as possible. A steam engine behind the cockpit, gatling guns, etc. It's a lot harder than it seems and I'm more concerned with getting it right instead of doing it fast.

Whatever style it is, it definitely works. XD Certainly underlines the steampunk theme, with blurry backgrounds and extremely focused foregrounds. Despite the single hue, it's still very colorful and elicits a sort of dreamscape-ish undertone to the whole scene. Just some personal thoughts. Lol. I can stare at this for a long time.

An old friend of mine is actually working on a steampunk short film on his own and he's colored it that kind of sepia, worn film and silent film palette. It really stuck with me so I had to color it this way. Thanks!
