She's the light

I have been obsessed lately with how disappointed I have been with renditions of Beauty and the Beast in film. yes, even at points the Disney version manages to make me wince (and I am a huge fan of the actual animation in that film).

I am contemplating an animated project of my version of the story - one that is more or less an epic tragedy rather than an endearing love story. I think it would appeal to mostly misanthropic stallwart goths! Haha! But hey, they are people too and deserve a rendition of the classic in true gothic form.

Seriously though I have envisioned something of this nature since college and never really had the means to execute the vision in any deserving format - this might be the time.
